Description
This transitional moment, just after the rain when the blue sky is peeking through is so poignant to me. It is both moody and sincere, longing, awaiting the shift into something lighter, yet holding the drama of the moment.
Sometimes I don’t know whether I want the sun to come back or not. It’s all so beautiful.
This is based off of a photograph of Druridge Bay in the UK, a spot very dear to the family of the collector who commissioned this painting.
