This painting is about following the light in spite of the darkness. It is about the beauty of hope.
Description
This acrylic painting was the one I made right after “Peace at Sea 2”. I was excited to still work with water but also work with light rays in this dynamic composition. I loved balancing the light and darkness with glazes and layers to get it just right.
These light rays symbolize hope coming through the darkness. I love that the birds fly directly to the light without hesitation. It’s so inspiring! To be so daring and trust your instincts like they do, guided by hope and going straight for what you want. It’s beautiful.
