This painting is called “Eternally Free”. It’s of a view that I saw when I hiked to a pinnacle in the Blue Ridge Mountains near my home. I was so inspired by the playful, undulating clouds. They felt light and free and the mountains felt eternal and endless. All these qualities together remind me of the human soul at its best - free, joyful, and eternal. It resonated very deeply for me.
It is also a love letter to the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the people who live there. Since we went through the Hurricane Helene disaster, I feel closer to everyone who lived through it with me. When I painted this, I wanted everyone who is recovering to know that deep down, our spirits are still as light and free as those clouds.

Quality of Materials
Original paintings are painted with excellent quality heavy body acrylic paint on stretched cotton canvas. Everyone always says how seeing the original is so much more powerful in person.
Care
Artwork is best hung on the wall for enjoyment and to avoid damage. Keep it out of direct sunlight. It is best to avoid excess humidity. Dust with a soft cloth.
If you must store it off the wall, wrap it in glassine paper for storage. This is the kind of paper it will be wrapped in when you recieve it. More glassine paper can be obtained online or in good quality art supply shops.
When will I get my painting?
Please allow two weeks for your original painting to be prepared for shipping. Once it is shipped, you will receive tracking information so you can be ready for when it arrives.
If the painting is large and you live very far away, the painting will be taken off of the stretcher bars and rolled carefully in a tube, for shipping. This is more secure for the painting and saves thousands in shipping. The stretcher bars will be shipped in an additional tube. A framer in your local area can easily reassemble it for you.
