Beautiful Storm (SOLD)

This painting is about power, restlessness and beauty.  Sometimes I feel just like this storm.  I get so creatively restless I almost can't bear it, but then out of that comes the most beautiful images and painting experiences.  So I painted this painting to capture how this stretches me, and how out of the discomfort comes something beautiful and new. With this painting I also tried starting out with a background color and then painting the other colors over top of it.  It worked really, really well.
